Internet Is Laughing Out Loud At The Way This Nice Lake Day Escalated
Buckle up your life jackets, folks, we’re swimming with a doggo! A couple of days ago, Holly Monson went on a family trip to Lake Saguaro, Arizona. Photographing their joyous time in the water, she has captured a very special moment. A cold-blooded assassination attempt her cute puppy was obviously planning for years.
“Well it was a nice lake day until my silly dog nearly drowned my sister,” Holly said tweeting the pictures. The Twitter thread instantly went viral. As of this article, it has accumulated a staggering 455K likes and 126K retweets. And it’s completely understandable. The expressions of the funny dog and its victim make the scene worthy of an action film, and luckily we don’t need to buy a ticket to watch it.
“His name is Sam and he will be 2 years old in September,” Holly told Bored Panda. “We decided to take him to the lake with us that day, and since we only took our god swimming a few times and it was a larger body of water we brought along his doggie life jacket just to be safe!”
“My dad threw his ball into the water for him to get, which he did until he spotted my sister and decided to swim over to her instead,” Monson added. “I don’t know if he was trying to save her or save himself, but that’s when he put my sister under for a good five seconds before my dad came to the rescue!” They got Sam back onto their boat, returned him his ball, and the story concluded with a happy ending. “My sister Ariana is also perfectly fine; just a few scratches.”
Holly said that this was Sam’s first swim of the day, so he could have been a little nervous, “We played fetch with him again in the shallows so he could get used to it and after that he was completely comfortable” Scroll down to check out how this funny accident unfolded and the darkly hilarious reactions Holly’s tweet has received!
