Cricket is an adorable Sheepadoodle who loves her orange cat best friend, Mo. Every time they have a chance, they play with one another. And they always see to it that they spend quality time together.
Cricket and Mo do not live in the same house. They are neighbors. But like kids, they are always excited to see one another.
“They get excited when they see each other,” said Corrina, Cricket’s mom. “They don’t have to ask permission to play, so they just run right over and do it.”
Cricket and Mo’s friendship began when Corrina started taking her dog out for walks. Out of nowhere, the curious cat would appear, jumping from someone else’s yard or running across the street. Eventually, Mo would just wait by Cricket’s front porch.
Cricket is always happy to have her cat friend inside her house. She shares the couch with him, lets him jump on the table, and even allows him to eat and drink on her bowl.
Mo, on the other hand, is equally obsessed with his dog. He sits by the gate, waiting for her to come out. No matter how long it takes, he will surely be there.
Most of the time, Cricket and Mo would wrestle with one another. The cat would be on his back, batting on the dog, while she runs in circles, faking an attack. But there are times when Cricket and Mo share romantic times, too. When they get smushy with each other and shower one another with kisses, that’s their moms’ favorite.
Cricket and Mo’s friendship is extraordinary. They always look out for each other. They are happy to see one another, and they always seize every opportunity to have fun.
“Everybody can relate to Cricket and Mo,” said Doreen, Mo’s mom. “One’s orange, and one’s black and white. One is a cat, and the other one is a dog. Everybody can get along, and those two prove it.”
