You may wonder what secret life your pet lead before coming to you, but for the owner of a Labradoodle named Louie, the past just got a little clearer.
Twitter user @itswalela posted a picture of Louie in the park after he spotted another Labradoodle and immediately stopped what he was doing.
After talking to the other dog’s owner, Louie’s family discovered that the two dogs came from the same breeder and had the same parents. Yes, that’s right — the two dogs are brothers.
It’s totally wild to think that the two dogs recognized each other after all that time — we’re talking rom-com levels of serendipity.
Just imagine all their other dog siblings out there in the world. Labradoodles have an average of eight little pups per litter, which means there could be SIX more of Louie’s siblings out there in the world, just waiting to be found.
Of course, others hopped on to share their own stories of pets being reunited with their siblings.
Now that these dogs have found each other at long last, hopefully they will have many future play dates in the dog park.
