There is no denying it, dogs are bona fide experts when it comes to getting attention and this pup in Brazil is no exception. No one knows for certain where this lonely dog came from, or why he chose to take refuge on a college campus in Brazil but one thing is for sure; he has stolen the hearts of internet users everywhere.
On Friday March 16, the dog turned up at Feevale University, in the city of Novo Hamburgo, settling in front of the college library. He then decided to brazenly march into the bookstore and steal a book. However, this wasn’t just any book…it was a book entitled “The Days of Abandonment” – rather fitting given his current predicament.

The whole incident was captured on CCTV, showing a student entering and returning the stolen book, he recovered. However, this was by no means the end of this little pup’s adventures. After the footage above was posted online, it quickly went viral, racking up more than 750,000 views in a matter of days.

It wasn’t long before a group of animal rescuers came to the college and changed the dog’s life forever. After being taken to the vet, vaccinated and bathed, the dog is now on the lookout for a forever home but until then he is in a wonderful foster home receiving the love and attention he so desperately deserves.
